Samsung Galaxy Tablet, is the New Ipad Killer?

Samsung Galaxy vs iPad

When you mention tablets it almost seems as if the category encompasses everyone but iPads.  Individuals seem to view the iPad as being in a league of its own and everyone else is fighting for second place.  However, the Samsung Galaxy Tablet might be the tablet that changes the perception of the masses.  Boasting of a 10.1 in Display size (.4in bigger than the ipad2) and a price point that is certain to have many users second guessing their iPad purchase, the galaxy tablet is poised to to become a formidable foe.

For many the app store has been one of their biggest motivators for purchasing an iPad, as user you want the biggest bang for your buck.  This has always been a big debate with our team of techies does more apps equate to bigger bang for you buck or does the hardware and share power behind he system warrant an argument for being a better bang for your buck?

For the purpose of this review we have taken the stance of arguing the facts (the value of an app can be very relative depending on the individual).  For ease of comparison we have designed a table that puts the iPad and Galaxy Tablet headed to in analysis of which we allow you to choose (via commenting below) which one you think is best.

Without skewing the thought process of your decision, after looking at the specs side by side, I can’t help but feel that the next time I purchase a tablet the choice will not be as clear cut as it was a few month ago.
